Priyam Kumar, DDS

A DMV native, Dr. Priyam Kumar is a warm and dedicated general dentist, and is excited to serve the Washington D.C. community. Dr. Kumar earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University, as an advanced standing dental student. She loves being able to help patients with their smiles and overcoming their fear of dentistry. Dr. Kumar makes every effort to stay on top of current developments in dentistry. To that end, she maintains the high levels of accreditation and takes advantage of ongoing education in both general and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Kumar believes that she can make a difference in patients’ lives by offering the patient opportunity to be active in their treatment decision process, educating them as to how they can maintain a healthy smile for life and help patients have not only a healthy mouth but a healthy body. She has great respect for her profession and spends countless hours studying, taking continuing education courses, and applying the advances of dentistry, as she strives for perfection in all she does.
